Anthony McPhee – Principal – Gympie, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast & Brisbane

Anthony qualified as an Accountant in March 1990 and became a Certified Practising Accountant five years later. His career began in Newcastle, in the tax and business services division of a major firm of Chartered Accountants, where he specialised in advising small to medium businesses (particularly clubs and hotels). He returned to Brisbane in 1993 putting his expertise to work in a number of medium sized practices. With a passion for small business accounting, management and consulting, Anthony thrives on the challenge of delivering tangible business benefits to his clients. His clients value his business acumen and depth of specialist skills in areas such as taxation planning, business acquisitions and valuations. Anthony is an active and well-respected member of both the business and wider communities through his involvement with the Gympie Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Gympie Go-Getters, Treasurer of the Gympie Cemetery Trust, Business Mentor for the QLD state government initiative Mentoring for Growth Program and is the Chairman of the St Patrick's Primary School Finance Board, Cooloola Fitness Centre & the Gympie Pines Golf Club.

Anthony was also a finalist in the 2011 Sunshine Coast Manager of the Year award through the Australian Institute of Management Awards.  This category seeks out  business owners, leaders within regional services, community organisations, tourism or primary industries.  These Managers lead an organisation or business unit in a professional capacity, or own and operate their business which employs more than five people.

Allison recently joined the team as an Administration Officer in our Bundaberg office.  Having working in administration for the last 10 years, Allison has a passion for accounting administration and client support, which enables her to provide Charter Partners clients with an exceptional service.  In her spare time, Allison enjoys performing music at local venues with her husband.







  Annette Hillcoat - Compliance Assistant - Gympie

As the Compliance Assistant for Charter Partners, Annette has excellent time management skills and an eye for detail.  She is able to apply her knowledge base and her qualifications to her role and enjoys working in a team environment.  In her spare time, Annette enjoys music, bushwalking and mountain climbing.









   Brett Lorensen - Accountant - Gympie

Brett comes to Charter Partners with more than 32 years experience in the industry.  His wealth of knowledge and experience are valuable attributes and his attention to detail is highly regarded. He is a valued team member. Brett is currently studying to further his career as well as juggling a healthy work/home life balance.


  Charlotte Pegues - Receptionist - Gympie

Charlotte was born and raised in France, and brings her friendly smile and experience to reception in our Gympie office.  She has developed her customer service skills to a professional level during her employment as a medical receptionist and in the tourism industry in USA, Canada and Australia.  In her spare time, Charlotte likes to get outdoors with her two dogs, garden, read or go to the gym.









   Chloe Hayes - Trainee Accountant - Gympie

Chloe has recently joined our Gympie Office and keen to further her career in Accounting. She is studying a Bachelor of Business at University of Sunshine Coast, majoring in Accounting and minoring in marketing. Undertaking full time work and study is no problems for Chloe and she flourishes in the Charter Partners team environment. She enjoys the continual learning and in her spare time reads books, and enjoys aquariums and the great outdoors.

  Cynthia Godden – Client Manager - Gympie

Cynthia brings a wealth of skills to Charter Partners, having gained over more than 10 years in professional practice working across a diverse range of industries.  Her particular expertise in the preparation of financial accounts, taxation and business succession planning allows her to work closely with clients.  Add to that her experience in the hospitality, employment and government sectors, and you have a valued Client Services Manager who maintains positive, long-term client relationships by ensuring a consistently high level of service.  When she's not tending to clients' needs, Cynthia successfully juggles life as a lucerne and beef farmer, mum of two children and a part-time university student.

  David Andreoli - Trainee Accountant - Bundaberg
B. Bus Mgmt (majoring in Marketing)

David has recently started his career with Charter Partners and is due to complete a Master of Professional Accounting course in early 2011.  David graduated from Griffith University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Management majoring in Marketing whilst continuing to run a farming business in partnership with his two brothers.  This experience in the family business has provided an in-depth understanding of business management and the need for accurate financial information which has fuelled his interest in accounting.   David has a high work ethic, enjoys working with numbers and has a keen eye for detail. 
 

Hannah Black - Administration Assistant - Gympie

Hannah is an administration assistant who supports all team members in the Gympie office.  Coming from a background of Administration and Retail, Hannah has a high level of both customer service and administrative skills.  In her spare time, Hannah enjoys designing and sewing her own clothes, reading a good book and watching movies.

 

Helen Tramacchi – Accountant - Gympie

Since 2001, Helen has assisted Charter Partners clients in the broad spectrum of accounting services.  She is particularly focused on helping them improve their bookkeeping to meet their record-keeping, GST and accounting requirements.  Her professionalism and heart for people in business see Helen go out of her way to assist clients, even gaining an Associate Degree in Commerce during her time with the firm, to enhance her skills and broaden her real world business perspective.

  Inga Jarick – Senior Client Manager - Gympie

B.Comm (Acc & Fin) with Distinction | CPA

As Client Manager, Inga leads a small but dedicated team in the Gympie Office.  The breadth of experience and knowledge gained in a 20-year career working in a variety of finance roles, the last five in professional practice with Charter Partners, has allowed Inga to bring a new dimension to the practice.  Raised on a cattle and sugar cane property, she is only too familiar with the challenges and issues of rural life and business, making her an asset in our semi-rural community.  And the rural ties run deep & Inga lives with her husband and three children on a small property outside Gympie, where they run a few cattle and enjoy horse riding every chance they get.

  Jan-Maree Zillmann – Administration Assistant - Gympie

As a Team Administrator Jan-Maree helps to ensure we turn around work quickly and efficiently and that bills are always accurate and descript.  Having worked with the ANZ for 23 years and other local businesses Jan-Maree is a 'stickler' for detail and a job well-done. Jan-Maree will also be the person to contact clients and arrange for their tax work to be brought in. With the firms free seminars that are run throughout the year, Jan-Maree has taken on the task of organising the events.
 

Jo Chubb - Accountant - Gympie

Originally from Gayndah, Jo studied a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) at Bundaberg CQU and completed the CPA program in 2004. Jo worked for the firm several years ago and has returned to Charter Partners with a focus on Self Managed Superannuation Fund work. Jo lives on a small acreage east of Gympie with her husband and three kids where they all enjoy the outdoors – camping, horse riding and going to the beach.  

  Kerri Anderson – Executive Support- Gympie
BA(LIS) majoring in Management & Marketing, Dip Bus (FLM), JPQ

Kerri brings a wealth of experience, versatility and knowledge to our Gympie Office where she assists the Executives, administration and quality control. Kerri is a qualified professional librarian who has worked in both the legal and accounting industries for some years. Kerri made Gympie her home more than 20 years ago and is well known amongst the community. In her "home-life" she and her husband are undertaking a long-term project to build a luxury catamaran.

 

 

  Leanne Harris – Financial Controller & IT Manager - Gympie

The decision to relocate to the Gympie region in 1995 opened new doors for Leanne Harris, and one of them brought her to Charter Partners.  Growing up in country Victoria and completing her secondary education in Brisbane, Leanne went on to work for Mercedes Benz and then Mack Trucks.  But having had her fill of big boys toys and big cities, she headed for Cooloola with her husband seeking a "safer, cleaner and healthier environment" to raise their children.  Since arriving in Gympie Leanne has not only run her own bookkeeping business she has also worked in financial control for Cooloola Cars and Commercials.  Leanne holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and a Certificate IV in Accounting, both of which stand her in good stead in her chosen field.  When it comes to time out, going to the gym, reading and camping are her preferred pleasures.
 

Linda Cooley – Client Manager – Gympie

Linda graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business.  She has 16 years accounting experience, which makes her well placed to understand clients' requirements.  Linda enjoys the personal interaction with clients and strives to provide them with reliable, quality service and foster enduring and productive relationships.  The team at Charter Partners also enjoys Linda's occasional joke and 'quirky' sense of humor.

 

  Luke Samways – Accountant - Bundaberg

With more than 10-years experience in accounting to his credit, incorporating an even balance of both public tax accounting and internal corporate accounting spheres, Luke adds significantly to the firm's expertise.  Bundy born and bred, Luke knows the area, its business community and its needs well.  His desire to stay and raise his two children in such a wonderful and secure environment, says a lot about his commitment to the area and confidence in its future.  Luke's pleasant personality and ability to explain often-complex matters in a simple manner are strengths that have made him highly effective as a business advisor.

 

  Lynne Blake –  Practice & Compliance Manager - Gympie

An eye for detail, a diverse knowledge base plus 23 years experience in the accounting profession (11 of these years at Charter Partners) have made Lynne a formidable asset to the Charter Partners team.  Her quality control efforts and high standards ensure that any work leaving the office is always the best it can be – this is what makes her the quality champion within the firm.  Lynne's dedication to providing clients with a compliance service that is second-to-none shines through in her consistently thorough and efficient approach.  Lynne and her family enjoy the rural lifestyle of their acreage at Cedar Pocket.
  Mandy Taske – Trainee Accountant - Bundaberg

Mandy says numbers are in her blood, which could explain why accounting and bookkeeping has been her preferred career for the past 24 years.  It's little wonder the logical nature of it appeals so strongly to such a methodical and organised individual, and there's nothing Mandy likes better than doing data entry and compiling financial reports.  Hmmmm.  Nothing that is apart from a good workout at the gym and plenty of Bundaberg sunshine.
  Marg McCarthy – Client Manager - Gympie

For 20 years Marg has been building on her extensive accounting experience, the last half of those with Charter Partners.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and as a very experienced and hands on accountant who is an absolute font of knowledge, has forged her role as Senior Accountant and Client Manager with the firm.   The high level work she carries out and results she achieves make it easy to see why her clients wouldn't choose anyone else, and also why she is such a well-respected member of the team.

  Rhiannon Scott - Administration Assistant - Gympie

Rhiannon is an administration assistant who supports our team of accountants.  She strives for perfection in everything she does and continues to develop her responsibilities.  Rhiannon enjoys her work at Charter Partners and loves going to the beach as often as possible.
 

Sarah Lewis - Receptionist - Bundaberg

As a receptionist for the Bundaberg office, Sarah is a friendly addition to the team. Coming from a customer focused background in retail, she is also kept busy studying a Bachelor of Communications. Any spare time that Sarah has is spent with friends, listening to music and going to the movies. 

  Sharon Jaenke – Client Manager - Gympie

Sharon has six years public practice experience and is currently in the process of completing a Bachelor of Commerce – majoring in accounting.  While work and study account for quite a bit of her time, she takes every opportunity to indulge her love of the outdoors during her leisure time.  Whether it's an escape to the beach, fishing or racing at various go-kart tracks throughout Queensland.

  Tania Hubbard - Client Manager - Gympie

Studying Bachelor of Accounting

Tania is an experienced accountant with solid bookkeeping skills including MYOB and Quickbooks, and an eye for detail.  She takes pride in ensuring all the "i's" are dotted and "t's" are crossed – always.  Having completed her Diploma of Accounting, Tania continues to study for a Bachelor of Accounting in her pursuit of growth and excellence.

  Yvonne Richardson – Client Manager - Gympie

With her background in primary production and small business management, Yvonne has an in-depth personal understanding of the everyday aspects of our clients' businesses and the challenges they face.  More often than not you will see Yvonne as one of the first people in and last out of work each day.
