Anthony qualified as an Accountant in March 1990 and became a Certified Practising Accountant in February 1995.
Anthony commenced his working career with a large firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle in 1990. He worked in the tax and business services division of the firm specialising in small to medium businesses and more specifically hotels and clubs.
In 1993 Anthony returned to Brisbane and resumed his Accountancy career working for a number of medium sized accountancy practices.
In 1997 he moved to Gympie where he took on the role as Taxation Manager for the Practice. He became a Partner in the firm in July 2000.
Anthony's principal areas of expertise and interest are in small business accounting and taxation, taxation planning, management & consulting and business acquisitions & valuations.

Anthony was also a finalist in the 2011 Sunshine Coast Manager of the Year award through the Australian Institute of Management Awards. This category seeks out business owners, leaders within regional services, community organisations, tourism or primary industries. These Managers lead an organisation or business unit in a professional capacity, or own and operate their business which employs more than five people.
