Accountant – Gympie Office
Long established practice based in Gympie is seeking an Experienced Accountant for a permanent full-time position.
We are a professional accounting firm, specialising in Superannuation Funds, Companies and Business tax, and are looking for a motivated person to join our energetic team.
Working in an experienced team of accountants, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- The preparation of Business Activity Statements;
- The preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for all entity types; and
- Supporting the team of accountants.
The successful candidate will have:
- 4 years or more public practice experience in a similar role;
- Tertiary qualifications an advantage, however, not essential;
- Experience in software such as MYOB, QuickBooks (Reckon), and Xero;
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail;
- Strong computer literacy.
